Naver Scraper: Korean Shopping Prices & Sellers in 2026

Korea shops on Naver

Naver is South Korea’s main search engine, and Naver Shopping is its product search, the Korean counterpart of Google Shopping. Most of the products it lists are sold through Smart Store, Naver’s marketplace for independent sellers, or Brand Store, its official brand shops. Price comparison catalogs group the same model across malls such as Coupang and Gmarket.

If you price, source or sell in Korea, Naver’s first page for a keyword is the market as Korean buyers see it.

What you can extract

One row per product, 50 fields:

  • Identity: title, URL, type (price comparison catalog or single-store product), sponsored flag
  • Content: brand, manufacturer, model, category path, seller tags
  • Price: price and list price in won, discount rate, coupon price
  • Reputation: rating, review count, score distribution, recent rating, purchase and wishlist counts
  • Stock and delivery: stock, delivery fee, free-shipping flag, delivery type and courier
  • Store: name, company, CEO, business type (corporation, private business or individual), sales count
  • Reviews: the latest buyer reviews, each with rating, text, option bought, masked author, date, repurchase flag and photos
  • Context: the keyword and the product’s rank in Naver’s listing

The technical challenge

  • Several kinds of rows in one listing: a keyword mixes price comparison catalogs, Smart Store products, products from other malls and sponsored slots. They carry different data; mix them up and your averages mean nothing.
  • The store sits a level deeper: company name, CEO, stock and reviews are not in the search listing; each product has to be read through its store.
  • Language: Naver matches Korean text. 유기농 사과 returns 50 Smart Store products, “organic apple” a handful. Brand and model names work in Latin letters.
  • A thin official API: Naver’s open API needs a developer key and returns 15 fields; the trade-offs are covered in our API vs web scraping comparison.

DIY or a ready-made Actor?

Our Naver Scraper on Apify takes keywords, Smart Store or Brand Store addresses and product addresses in one run, with a row cap, a store-data switch and a reviews-per-product setting. Each keyword returns the 50 to 90 products Naver shows first, each store up to about 80 popular products. No Naver account. Pay-per-result at about $0.003 per product, reviews included on the row.

Two siblings cover deeper needs: Naver Products Scraper for keywords past 10,000 products and Brand Stores read by ID, Naver Reviews Scraper for one row per review.

A practical workflow

  1. Build a Korean keyword list: translate your category terms, keep brand and model names in Latin letters.
  2. Run a fast listing first: store data off, reviews at zero: price, discount, store name, rating and review count in seconds.
  3. Qualify with store data: turn it on for the keywords that matter, then filter on row type and the sponsored flag.
  4. Schedule and compare: save the input as a task, run it daily and diff datasets to catch price drops and new sellers. Our e-commerce price monitoring guide covers the alerting side.

Use cases that pay off

  • Price monitoring: competing prices, discounts and coupon prices for a keyword list, every morning.
  • Korean market entry: who sells a category, how much they sell, at what price bands.
  • Seller sourcing: Smart Store sellers with company name, CEO and sales count, shortlisted by rating and stock.
  • Brand protection: every store selling your brand on Naver, with its prices, kept current.
  • Public pages, no bypass: the Actor reads what any Naver visitor sees and does not get around logins, paywalls or CAPTCHAs.
  • Personal data is in the rows: masked reviewer names and the store representatives’ names from legal notices fall under Korea’s PIPA and GDPR once stored; keep only what you need.
  • Naver’s terms apply: compliance is on the user; analyzing prices is defensible, cloning listings is not.
