Our ForexFactory scraper turns the forexfactory.com economic calendar into one row per event: actual, forecast, previous and revised figures as printed and as numbers, the surprise, whether the print was better or worse for the currency, impact, currency, country, event type and release time in your time zone, plus the indicator's source agency, frequency, usual effect and notes. Pick a date range back to 2007, type keywords such as CPI or NFP, or paste calendar and indicator links. No account needed. Export to JSON, CSV or API.
Why scrape ForexFactory?
Forex Factory's economic calendar is where traders and analysts check which macro data comes out when: central bank decisions, CPI, payrolls, PMIs and speeches for the nine currencies it covers, each with an impact rating and the actual, forecast and previous figures. The catch is the format: figures display as text such as 175K or -0.4%, and the site shows one date window at a time.
Scraping it turns the calendar into a time series. Figures arrive as numbers with the surprise already computed, the full release history of one indicator since 2007 comes from a single link, and the UTC release instant joins cleanly with market data you already hold. For research, dashboards and event studies, the calendar becomes a table you can query instead of a page you scroll.

Frequently asked questions
What does the ForexFactory scraper extract?
One row per calendar event: name and event type, currency, country, impact, the actual, forecast, previous and revised figures as text and as numbers, the surprise and outcome, the release date and time, and the indicator's source agency, frequency, usual effect and notes. Input is a date range, keywords or Forex Factory links, filtered by currency, impact and event type. No Forex Factory account or API key is needed.
How far back does the data go?
To 1 January 2007, the first day of the Forex Factory calendar. Use a custom date range with keywords such as CPI, or paste an indicator page to get every release of that indicator, newest first.
When do the actual figures appear?
The calendar is read live when the run starts: a run started after a release has its actual, a run started before it returns null. Event IDs stay the same from schedule to release, so a scheduled run can update rows in place. The data is informational, not investment advice; verify figures with the publishing agency before regulated or trading use.
How much does it cost?
Pay-per-result: about $0.0185 per calendar event, no subscription. Start free with Apify credit.
