What data does each course include?
Title, headline, full description, price, average rating, review and student counts, lecture and quiz counts, content hours, level, instructor, category and subcategory, badges, objectives, requirements, target audience, caption languages and the curriculum.
What input does the scraper take?
Keywords, which are converted to Udemy topic pages (web development becomes /topic/web-development/), or direct URLs of topic pages and individual course pages. Category pages such as /courses/development/ load their data dynamically and are not supported, so use topic pages instead.
How many courses can I collect per run?
Each topic yields the courses its topic page lists, so coverage grows with the number of keywords and topic URLs you add in one run. The maxItems setting caps the total. Failed pages are retried automatically before the run moves on.
